Message from the Principal

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. We, at Zapata South Elementary, are proud of our dedicated staff and our outstanding students. Zapata South Elementary has a history of great accomplishments and we pledge to continue to guide your children in the direction of a productive future. At Zapata South, we will "inspire and develop learners to become the leaders of tomorrow." While student performance remains a priority, we will also strive to teach responsibility, respect, and citizenship in a positive learning environment.   We acknowledge that in order to do this we must develop an effective partnership with parents and the community. It is through this partnership of a shared vision that we will be able to achieve our goal of empowering our children in becoming successful learners. Thank you for your support and cooperation. We are looking forward to an exciting new year of learning and high expectations.

Bienvenidos al año escolar del 2022-2023. En Zapata South Elementary estamos orgullosos de nuestros maestros dedicados y nuestros estudiantes excepcionales. Zapata South Elementary tiene una historia de logros excepcionales y nos comprometemos a seguir guillando a sus hijos en la dirección de un futuro productivo. En Zapata South, vamos a "inspirar y desarrollar a los estudiantes a convertirse en los líderes del mañana."   El desempeño del estudiante sigue siendo una prioridad, también vamos a esforzarnos para desarrollar   la responsabilidad, el respeto, y la ciudadanía en un ambiente de aprendizaje positivo. Reconocemos que para hacer esto tenemos que desarrollar una asociación eficaz con los padres y la comunidad. Es a través de esta asociación compartiremos una visión donde seremos capaces de lograr nuestro objetivo de convertir a nuestros niños en  estudiantes exitosos. Gracias por su apoyo y cooperación.
