Spooky Family Literacy Night a Fantastic Success!

What a spooktacular night! Our Spooky Family Literacy Night was a fantastic success. Students were enchanted as teachers brewed up a witches’ brew of amazing books that ignited their imaginations. Dressed in their Halloween costumes, the students had a wonderful time listening to and reading stories with their parents while enjoying an enchanted treat. It was truly a night filled with fun and spooky creativity! 🎃👻📚🧙‍♀️🧹

Child Nutrition Department TASTE TESTING EVENTS

The ZCISD Child Nutrition Department had an incredible time hosting taste testing events at Zapata High School and Zapata Middle School! We would like to thank the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension for their collaboration and to their Youth Ambassadors for providing valuable support in making these events a success. A special thank you to the Zapata High School Culinary Arts class and the Advocates of Zapata Middle School for helping sample some delicious items!
Taste Testing events help introduce students to new, nutritious foods in a fun and interactive way, promoting healthier eating habit
